sen no sen sen no sen Seizing the initiative earlier. Initiaing an attack while the opponent is doing nothing. Attacking first.
go no sen go no sen Seizing the initiative later. Allowing your opponent to attack first so as to open up targets for counter-attack.
sen sen no sen sen sen no sen Seizing the opponent's 'sen no sen'. Attacking just before your opponent does. A preemptive attack at the moment your opponent mentally commits to attack.
sun dome soon doe meh An ancient measure of about three centimeters. Stopping a technique just prior to contact or Pulling an attack about three centimeters before a vital target.
