First Brown Belt (Sankyu) Testing Requirements

- any triple technique combination with alternating stances

- front snap kick to round kick to side snap kick to back kick from the same leg, 5 times (mae geri keage, mawashi geri, yoko geri keage, ushiro geri, gokai)
- Kumite Combinations
- lunge punch, switch, reverse punch to side thrust kick to shuffle-up back kick
(oi zuki, switch, gyaku zuki to yoko geri kekomi to shuffle-up ushiro geri)
- jab to step-up round kick, switch, reverse punch to side thrust kick to spinning back kick
(kizami zuki to step-up mawashi geri, switch, gyaku zuki to yoko geri kekomi to spinning ushiro geri)

- single attack sparring from any direction/circle drill (ippon kumite)
- free style sparring (jiyyu kumite)
- Other Requirements
- an oral test on Shotokan-related topics will be administered at the end of the physical test
